Located about 50 minutes from the airport, ’The Purist Villas and Spa’ lies in Ubud, behind Kutuh Katje, a small rural village surrounded by rice paddies that is only a stone’s throw away from Ubud, the art, culture, culinary and shopping center of Bali. Each luxury Bali villa includes an open living and dining environment. GARDEN RESIDENCE
Garden Residence consists of two luxury Bali villas, which are built around a private pool. Each villa features an open living and dining area and wooden sundecks with sun beds. The Pool villa is a contemporary, Balinese style villa, with a king size bed. With glass doors that lead directly to the pool. The pool is surrounded by bamboo walls and a tropical garden with on one side the sundeck, with two double sun loungers. The bathroom is provided with a stone bathtub and half open air shower room decorated with limestones.
The Timor villa is a vast and rustic wooden house from the island of Timor, and is completely renovated with contemporary items, for optimal comfort. It consists of a bedroom with four poster king size bed, and a living area which is spacious enough to place an extra child’s bed. The bathroom has a covered outdoor space with the stone bathtub and a separate shower.
One side of the living room has doors leading to a big sundeck with superb views. The other side of the living room has big wooden doors, leading to the pool area. If these villas are rented by different guests, these doors will be kept closed for optimal privacy. The other villas of The Purist are located on a lower level of the estate.
RIVER RESIDENCE
The River Residence consists of two luxury Bali villas, adjoined by a royal half open living with lounge sofas. A small river is streaming near this relaxing area, and brings a peaceful atmosphere.
The two villas are identical. They have both modern and minimalist design, and are decorated with various Balinese art and items. One villa houses a king-size bed, and the other villa has a bed that can be divided into two twin beds. The bathrooms give you the feeling of a spa.
Each villa has its own sundeck with superb views, and has direct access to the huge main pool of The Purist.
JUNGLE VILLA
This contemporary, luxury Balinese style villa is located at the other side of the main pool and has direct pool access beside the small river which is flowing through the estate.
It overlooks the lush vegetations at and on the other side there is a river deep below, that entertains one with the sound of streaming water.
The villa has an oversized, king size bed, and an elegant bathroom with a small goldfish pond. This half open spa-like bathroom is an ideal place for guests who prefer in-villa treatments. Glass doors lead to a half open lounge area.
BAMBOO VILLA
This luxury Bali villa has its own private pool with a waterfall that flows to the lower level, where the Spa and Yoga building lies.
It consists of a bedroom with an extra large king-size bed, and a small living area with an extra sofa bed that lies away from the main bed area separated by a bookcase. This villa can accommodate up to three people.
At the other side of the pool is a Bale-like lounge and dining area, with a wooden sundeck flanked by the bale and the villa. The entire garden is surrounded by natural stone walls and a lot of lovely yellow bamboo.
HILL VILLA
This luxury Bali villa has a private pool. This big wooden rustic house from the island of Timor is completely redesigned with a grey pebble stone as ground floor and a mixture of wood and beige limestone as the walls.
It has twin bedroom, which can be transformed in an instant into a second bedroom with a king- size bed. This room can also be used as a nap place, because this room has glass doors which lead directly to the pool area.
At a split level part of the villa you will find the master bedroom with an extra large king-size bed. The two rooms are adjoined by a five meter high ceiling with an ‘alang-alang’ roof. They share a half open bathroom with a stone bathtub and separate shower room.
The living room has glass doors flanking it that leads to a wooden sundeck with a covered dining area. This whole impressive house is decorated with wood carvings and lies on a hill with an open view. However privacy is assured because of its lush tropical garden.
