The topeng dance usually played by two and maximum is five people who played different mask with difference character this type of tope are called topeng pajengan. Topeng dance can be divide into two types first is topeng pajengan and the second one is Topeng Wali. Topeng wali is a topeng dance that play to entertain and usually tells about the stories of old traditional Balinese kingdom.

Topeng dance is a dance with played by using mask or topeng, the word topeng is basically came from the word “tup” which means ‘tutup’ or closed so it became topeng which it means closed or mask. The histories of topeng is appear in 818 caka or 896 century which found written source in prasati Bebetin in time where Ugrasena became a king. There are two type of topeng dance first is Topeng Tari Wali and the second one is Topeng Pajengan but basically the topeng dance is function relate to religious ceremonial in the temple or outside the temple like Manusa Yadnya, and Pitra Yadnya.

In development topeng dance is presented to entertaining which usually called topeng wali, this type of topeng like jauk, arja topeng monyer, topeng tua, topeng manis, topeng keras, topeng penasar, topeng dalem is presented to entertainment, but topeng wali also presented in temple related to upakara dewa yadnya. Topeng pajengan itself only played when there are traditional ceremonial like in temple the type topeng dance is topeng sidakarya and does not play out side of that line.

The dancer of topeng dance are dressed with Balinese traditional clot like wearing sarong prada, badong, gelang kana saput prada, kancut putih and destar or udeng. Before playing topeng character all the dancer is pray in the back stage which it call banten Ngungkab Langse they pray to god Ida Sang Hyang Widi Wasa so that the shows is successes.

This palace is build when Indonesia has been free from Dutch colonies, which the brilliant idea is come from the founding father of Indonesia Ir Soekarno. This Palace is consist of four main building, first is Wisma Merdeka (1.200m wide), the second is Wisma Yudistira (2000m wide), the third is Hall room and the fourth is Wisma Negara and Wisma Bima which both this building are made in same year 1963. This palace is named which take from the village name Tampak Siring. Tampak Siring came from the word Tampak which means footstep and Siring means slanting, the Tampak Siring it self is take from the stories a brutal king named Mayadenawa which thing his is the god so the Indra mad and catch him so in odder to run hw walk slating but finally he catcher.

Tenganan Pegringsingan is including to Karangasem regency precisely at Manggis district, it is one of Balinese regency which located to the east of Denpasar town and about 7 km from Klungkung regency, this places has many unique tradition and historically and interesting place which it nature are keeping pure and supply for the fresh water. The people of Tenganan Pegringsinag live in simple way untouched by modernizations they called them self as the followed of Indra god of war, where the blood of warrior is spread in their daily live.

The tradition of Makare-kare is the symbol of respected of Tenganan people for god of indra where in the pas here there are dictator king name Maya Denawa which ordered badness for the Tenganan people so the god battle finally the god of Indra win. So as the symbol of this winer so the people of Tenganan done Makare-kare or battle pandanus where the blood from their hurt is the symbol to their respect to Indra.

Tourist crows this attraction in every year and it has been one of tourism event. This temple is located in the north side of Balinese island precisely at Banyupoh village, Gerogak district on Buleleng regency. This temples has two function in the way to applying Balinese bakti first is to pry for the almighty god Ida Sang Yang Widi Wasa and the second one is to respected the spirit soul form Sri Patni Kaniten which give a title with “Bhatari dalem Ketut” a wife from Javanese priest named Danghyang Dwijendra.

Historically when did these temple are build is has great connected to the journey of the last Javanese priest came to Bali Bagawan Dwijendra in 17th century. According to the old written source, named Dwijendra Tatwa mentioned that Sri Patni Kaniten which came from Blangbangan came to her husband Dahyang Dwijendra and tell that she doesn’t strong enough to continued the journey.

She ask to the priest that she gave a magical power so, she cant see by human being and be united immortality with nature together with her doughter NI Ayu Swabhawa. From that time Sri Patni Kaniten disappeared, cannot see by human being and be came wang Gamang (invisible). The places where she disappears are build a temple as a place to respected Sri Patni Kaniten which gave the titled Bhatari Dalem Ketut”.

This temple is one of Balinese temple which has great historically stories to the journey from the last Javanese priest who came to Bali. This temple also knowing as religious tourism object in Bali which each of the holiday season it crowed by the tourist from local, domestic even thought international be aware to any direction and intention if you came to visited this religious places. Buleleng regency knows with many interesting places with surrounding by fresh nature, some of it nature places all ready build villa, small cottage restaurant to developed tourism industry in Buleleng regency.

Tabanan regency is the green-green yard for Balinese island beside that this places also keep many interesting places like baht of Yeh Panes and some unique of tradition and culture which each of it is related to religious ceremonies. Pura Batukaru is one of religious temple in Tabanan regency which it build has great related to Javanese priest name Mpu Kuturan. This temple is located to at Batukaru mounting, Wangaya Gede, Penebel district, Tabanan regency and this temple is related to Kahyangan which the statues is universal temple which is supported by all Balinese people. This temple is more popular called with name Batukawu that means Batu is rock or pillar and Kawu in English language is west so this name is take from the name of Batukaru mounting which located at the west side of Balinese island.

Historically all the temples which belonging to the Khayangan temples in Bali is build by Mpu Kuturan the old Javanese priest and fixed some the temples which all ready build before including Pura Batukaru. There are many science predictions that Khayangan temples in Bali mostly used as a place for Yoga, meditation by the priest this theory is pruped by each of it located in the source water with natural view and fresh air.

There are some old written source that mentioning abut when did this temple is build. The first is Babad Pasek which tell about the good which came from Semeru Mounting and came to bali stay at Batukaru, the second one is Babad Pasek Tohjiwa which tell about the stories of Gelgel king, the last one is Babad Buleleng which tel about a king which purpose to destroyed Batukaru temple but it useless they atcted by hundred bee.
